Default handling extras

hey guy just wondering as i have little experience and im sure theres lots of guys here with lots of experience the best brands and vendors, look at picking up some parts of nengun or vision r for the wrx.

firstly looking at getting strut braces front and rear but on nengun cusco strut braces are around the 60-150 aussie but on vision r carbring ones are closer to 400 each. then price difference is similar again with the 8pt arm bar as well, would love a point in the right direction cheers

The Cusco stuff is quite nice and reasonably priced. The Carbung stuff is Holywood but at Holywood prices. Unless I had heaps of cash or an R35 I personally wouldn't splash for the Carbing gear.

I have over half of the bits available for my G3. The only things that I haven't gone for are those which are known to introduce NVH but then again...you need to leave something for the future. The whiteline gear is quite good value and does what it says. Sway bars and strut bars are easy choices. Anti lift kit gets mixed reactions from people. The roll centre kit is good if you have lowered your car at all.

Look at Whiteline gear. Talk to Greg at GSL Rallysport for a quote.
You will get more for your money.

Mao at Evolution R in Bentley also does Perth Wrx deals on both Cusco and Whiteline. I got most of my Whiteline gear from there and also fitted there. Warrick takes the time to get it installed and set up right.

Heres one from left field - buy a cusco 1.5 way rear diff.

Will transform the car.

Cusco is a little overpriced when others do the job for less $$, can't deny that it's made better and has more of a 'bling' factor though..

TJ, what difference will the diff make? More drive out of corners I'm guessing?

Disagree completely. Comparing the products, I know what I buy every time.

Re the original post. Have a look at the total cost from Nengun including shipping. They are importing from Japan whereas Vision R are a local company and there is no shipping cost on top. Also Nengun is stupidly slow on deliveries. I've found stuff I've ordered from perfectrun to arrive much faster than Nengun.

Rear diff in a stock car is a waste of $1k+ imo. If you have the other basic suspension mods, then yes do it. Diffs is what changes a WRX into something that can really corner on rails.

Yeah I'm bit of a fan of vision r from when I had my dc2r, the wrx already has coilovers and whiteline Sway bay bars, and more then enough power, just want more grip to go with it
