The vehicle came in with the stock ecu fitted to it. Stock ecu had a CEL which indicated AFM. Is it not possible to pick up the AFM CEL when the stock ecu was fitted?

Rhys was told it was the wiring. Correct me if I am wrong.

It's the other way round, pwrx is actually supporting him, I'm sure he's doing quite well from being a vendor and isn't going anywhere.
I actually think Mao's tuning and other work is probably quite good based on the feedback, hell, he may even tune better than the other guys. BUT he's so freakin unprofessional in the way he goes about it that I'd never step foot anywhere near his workshop!

I agree that Mao should have thought before he typed, but I applaud him for sticking around and supporting this site, even with all the crap he cops, and allot of the crap is from Mod's, who I thought would be impartial, but happily accept Mao's money!!

Just lock this thread FFS!

p.s. I have spent a shit load of money at ASG by the way.
I disagree. If any of the above mentioned workshops made a derogatory comment they would also be expected to answer for it. None of them would though, I believe and I stand to be corrected but in the history of the forum this is a first for another workshop to blatantly point the finger and accuse another workshop for faulty workmanship???

This could never end

Did Mao say in his comment that the car was tuned on a faulty AFM by All Star Garage.

"Problem rectified, will continue with the rest of work and retune next week dude.

Vehicle was tuned on a faulty AFM and the problem amplified later for ya.

New AFM replaced and will do the retune next week"

We only know it was ASG due to this thread being started by Riceman, and then let run for days, when it should have been locked.

Sorry if I'm going on, but I believe in sticking up for the underdog

You said to your client the car was tuned on a faulty AFM.......

It's quite simple. Is this still your position?

If not, retract the statement I will lock the thread and we can all move on.

This thread is rubbish, my car was running fucking fantastic one minute the next the AFM broke and car was dead, it happens.

ASG would go broke if they handed out refunds to every person who thrashed/ fucked around with their own car.

I had my 06 wrx tuned at ASG and had a good experience, it seems Mao was given half a story but I'd hardly say he's unprofessional I'd still take my car to his work shop.

I think most of us can see this thread for what it is

Me making derogatory comments. That's the understatement.

I simply helped a Perth WRX member out with his AFM CEL, while Warick tuned it. I am sure Rhys can feel the difference as it is a pretty damn quick GC8 now.

To be honest, everyone of you is entitled to your opinions. Don't blame u for not stepping into the workshop. I personally, am sure 1000 less Evolution Rs will not even be a pin prick.

However, I simply don't give a fuck what others say about Evolution R. We are here to try to do the job well and provide ongoing support for our customers regardless, even at the times when we fail them.

Obviously Riceman has never owned a business... I think its pretty damn disrespectful posting private emails like this between yourself and a business on a public forum. The least you could have done is taken out names... or better yet go and talk face to face to sort your shit out.
