picked up entire engine the other day and this is the result of the piston in the bore that failed



on a good note, had a few goodies rock up today to get the build underway



few things for the engine bay but my cams are here

While its getting machined you shoul get the L19 or something headstuds.

Sucks to see that carnage! Cant belive it let go like that.

i bought cosworth head stud kit, should do the trick

Good to hear mate.

Best to do it once, do it right etc... EJ25 are well known for failure with a bit of power, unless properly sleeved etc

Whilst I don't know you personally, I'll give you a for sticking with the car and giving the engine another go!

Looking forward to seeing the outcome of this build.
Would it be possible to get as many (within reason) pictures of the engine through out its entire build (Parts => Machining => Assembly => etc)?
