What I did to mine was full lock to one side and holding it there for 3-4sec and then the other side for 3-4sec then repeat the process for 2-3 times
Went away after that and haven't had it since... I got it randomly after a drive home from work and was shuddering on idle in the garage??

yes full lock plus bit more
not sure on the background on this but it worked for me and a quick google on this subject also came back with the same answer as what I did
