Power steering / air bubbles in the steering column? Mine did the same thing after a service but it went away after two weeks.

Got an Xforce exhaust system?

My bet is dump pipe touching the steering column. Look for a shiny spot on the dump pipe and hit it with a hammer to stop it touching.

The shuddering happened to my MY06, had bubbles in the power steering resevoir but didnt go away so had to get the o rings etc in the power steering pump replaced.

There are a some good DIY write ups on it if it turns out to be the problem.

My vote is power steering, had the same issue and took me ages to diagnose it.
Buy a generic replacement on ebay for half the price, I got fucked over on a genuine article....

My 04-06 do shudder sometimes, normally it's the sprin clamp ontop of the power steering pump coming loose over time and sucking air. Get a normal worm type hose clamp. Move the spring clamp away and attatch the worm clamp. Cheap fix and works 80% of the time if the pump isn't fucked yet
