Default Vent selector repairs

Please help me!!!!
My vent selector has snapped somewhere behind the switch
Can anyone give me some advice as to how difficult/easy it is to fix myself?
I am close to the suby wreckers so can most likely get the part, just need to know if it is easy enough for me to do at home?
Thank you all in advance

Try pull it apart and get to the broken piece. If you get that far, you can probably put it back together again.

Try putting your head up under your dash to see if the cable moves

if something is snapped you need to find why it snapped. How easy is the job, depends on your definition of easy. Some people see removing a stereo as too hard, if this is you then take it to a workshop. If you don't mind getting your hands dirty and are mechanically minded at all, its not hard to figure out.
It could be a seized cable. This happens from time to time when they are not moved.
