This thread isn't getting any cheaper. Although I think it is fair to assume that the ECU and tune isn't a place you want to skimp / cheap out on the quality.
American Dave and DZENCI like this.

Parts, Labour, tuning time.
We are talking brand new parts here, not a $1200 Vipec second hand. Shit that's cheap!

Got my vipec for 2500 installed and tuned.

For e85 I need:
Bigger fuel pump 400lph+
Bigger injectors 800+
Tune

Fully supplied/installed/tuned it sounds like it will be close to $2k

Also have the option of the flex sensor which will prob add on another $1k worth in mostly dyno time

Also sounds like you need to empty your tank every month or less due to shorter shelf life of e85

Might as well get a new turbo whilst you're at it to get even more benefit of the E85
add $2K

550 for the tune 550 ish for id1000s 175 for dw300. Plus your chooses ecu if you don't have a suitable ecu. Vipec's start from 2500 installed and I think tuned from asg.

Beware of corrosiveness of sugar blended stuff from united. Corn blended drum e85 is supposed to be nicer to your injectors etc...but 3 dollars a litre when you buy a drum.

One thing I have considered is run united e85 and put a tank of 98 through every month or so to clean everything out as much as possible. Obviously you'll need to switch tunes, drain tank etc

Other option is flex fuel sensor and ecu to suit
