Is it being refined locally?
Yes you need to run only E85 once you are tuned for it. I would just fill up a couple of 20 ltr cans with E85 to keep in case of it running out but considering the investment that United have made in order to sell E85 I would expect the supply will be fine.

I would get an E-Flex installed too. Reads the octane of the fuel etc.

For you guys that aren't using your vehicle as a daily, remember that ethanol blended fuels have a shorter shelf life as the alcohol has an affinity to attract & absorb moisture, and water will cause the fuel to separate. Not an issue if you are using a tank of juice every week or two, but does become an issue if left standing for a couple of weeks or more, especially if the tank is only partially filled.
For those of you storing fuel in cans, make sure they are full & have tight fitting lids. Also keep them off the concrete, covered, & preferably some place the temperature is reasonably constant. This will help prevent condensation forming .

I understand that if your tuned for E85 that you cant run less octane. What would happen if you filled up with E85 and your tuned for 98ron?
