Default Le Dak Maketh too much boost

Need some ideas good sirs and mad.. well sirs really

-Installed blitz s spec ebc 10th August. No issues, set it up.

-Sat 17th go for a drive. Car becomes noticeably doughy down low, but then begins to make lots of boost (like 1.4/5 bar) - fun, but I expect it to explode very shortly if it keeps doing that.

I have checked all vaccum hoses - nothing has fallen off actuator, nothing looks split that I can see. Idle's fine (doesnt hunt or cough etc), intake does seem louder though.

Ideas?

- split hose I cant see
- solenoid fail
- ?

re set the ecu and set your boost target lower as the std valve probably can't keep up

With the boost controller off it is making 1.2 bar

With it on it is set to make 1.2bar, I just added a little gain to get it on earlier.

Definitely not spiking from too much gain

Have you taken the boost controller off again to see if it is a leak?

Yeah connection to back of unit is tight and secure - plus that line only reads boost so shouldnt affect anything.

I have turned the unit off completely and it is still going off with boost levels.

did you replace any factory pipes? some of them have small restrictors in them to prevent spiking

Yep I'm with Rosco...I'm thinking wastgate actuator issues. If it's still doing it with no boost control connected at all, that would be my first look.
