Exclamation Verso tune help

I have a MY03 that's running a verso tune from Allstars Garage.

The car was bought with the tune already in place and i'm rather new in the world of tuning it currently running 222hp with the tune i was wondering if there's a way switch between the racing tune and a separate tune for fuel saving on long drives.
(I currently do a 800km drive once a month and fuel is killer)

The only way to do this would be to have a race rom file and daily driver rom file and you would need to flash the ecu each time you switched between the 2 files. Not ideal but might work for you.

Drive off boost?

Since my latest tune fuel economy is better.

no flick of a switch solution with reflash

you'll need to get it "detuned" for run less boost, and leaner so you dont use as much fuel
unless you go aftermarket like motec, which you can flick a switch

I like the rom soultion is it possible to upload the verso tune into something with a stock tune as well?

And how much would that sort of thing set me back?

you just need a tactrix cable and the software is free to download here
RomRaider - Open Source ECU Tools | Documentation / Getting Started

You can capture your verso tune easily enough but you will need a stock rom file to replace it with. Perhaps speak to ASG about this ?

Any tune running leaner and developing more power is going to have better fuel economy than OEM as long as you stay off the loud pedal.

Alot more than the "perceived" fuel savings.
