I am looking for info on getting a complete rebuild for a thrown rod. The block is cracked and the turbo is possibly shod.

I have looked at the workshop forum but I am unsure as to which workshops would be willing to do a complete overhaul on the engine, either dropping in a second hand one or rebuilding it with new parts.

Also, costs?

It might be worth looking at an EJ207 Shortblock replacement (Keep stock WRX heads) versus a full rebuil of you EJ205.

Cost varies, so you have to call/see them and talk it out.
