got a pretty well known mechanic to fit it and yes, i am thinking the shuddering is due to the new clutch and I am just not used to having a heavier clutch.
now I have a feeling that my problem with not being able to shift out or into gears is simply air in the clutch line. whenever i am lock into gear or lock out of a gear, I can just pump the clutch a few times and it releases itself. does it sound like air in the clutch line?

pumping the pedal and you get more travel means air in the system two problems you may have 1 - your so called mechanic didnt bleed the system properly in the beginning or 2 - your master cylinder is sucking air into the system in which your so called mechanic should advised you at the time to replace both in which would have solved the problem straight away just my opinion hence why your on the forum |
