Ecutek will also retain the stock drivability, cold start reliability, and smoothness.
not to mention being 1/4 the price...
with your mods, it's all you need.

Blowing flames out the exhaust is cool........if you can afford a new turbo every 12 months!

What is the expected outcome after the Motec install?? What sort of power gain would you expect on the 06 STi??

You will get a shit load more power with a nice new huffer, good breathing mods and EcuTek / Utec for the money , fuck you could just about go forgies and still have change....

tek3 @ racetorque. very happy with the service.
05 STi. 190kw atw with usual + mac 3-port solenoid. have the dyno sheet if anyone's interested. 200 atw very shortly...

the cost of the motec tuning time alone would almost pay for your Ecutek, and net the same or very similar results.

unless you are making use of the advanced motec features (and i don't mean antilag), the cost is unjustifiable.

do you you plan on going wild with non-bolt-on mods, racing (legally) and require some hardcore datalogging?
