Wow...OVER 2 hours to diagnose an intermittent problem?.......This is why I was wondering if you were looking for a miracle.

Did your tuner not notice anything wrong in the Logs from your dyno runs?

I'm very surprised nothing was picked up under the stress of a full power dyno run.

Has anyone else who knows Subaru's driven your car and noticed your issue?

You got the ecutek taken off and rom raided it didn't you by another local tuner?

Who re-tuned the ECUTek and when was it done....and what other changes have been made since? I suggest you take it back to that workshop and get some diagnostics run as a first pass...as has been said in other posts, there are only 2 ECUTek tuners in WA...MMS and Racetorque.
From what you're saying MMS didn't retune it...so it must have been Racetorque? Both of these workshops are reputable...BUT...problems like this can take quite some time to diagnose due to the fact it could be one or more of many things.
Nobody on an internet forum will diagnose and fix it for you...

I would bet that Mao retuned it and he won't say because he doesn't have the licence for it. You can buy the bits off ebay for EcuTek
