Cool, well that's what mine was, when I had a very similar issue.

The list:

- Alarm/Electrical
- Sparkies
- Coil Packs
- Fuel Pump
- Fuel
- Fuel Filter
- AFM
- Tune/ECU

Intermittent or consistent?

No, its doing it all the time...seems to be worse if the car has been driven for a longer duration?. Sometimes the Spluttering is so bad the car bunny hops

Fuel pump control unit
Nah fuck it..........

Why are you asking everyone to diagnose your car?

In your other thread about this exact issue ----->>>> You had MMS have a look at it but obviously didn't want to fork out for a proper diagnostic of the problem or have them fix it.

You only seem to be telling half of the story......
Who retuned it?
How could they have retuned it if it was running like a bag of dicks?
Did they notice a problem and tell you about it?
What was the result of the retune - power - torque - boost?

For all we know the car could be running on 3 cylinders and oiling up the plugs.......and you may be looking for a miracle......

What are you talking about,I DID take it to MMS, I had it there for over 2 hours and they didn't know exactly what was wrong? but said it was leaning out after 3000rpm?. MMS Checked the Fuel Pressure/Flow and said it was fine

I spoke to Neil and he said... look it could take us days and we still might not find the problem, and suspected an odd electrical fault or a vaccum hose break.

It was retuned elsewhere( that's all I'll say) and they said,it was showing knocking to about 10?,something was adjusted in the Tune to bring that down to 3, the AFR's were showing to be fine so it was a mystery to them as to why it was showing knock?. I cant give specifics as to what was altered in the tune etc as Im certainly no Tune expert or mechanic and cant recall what exactly was changed on the tune.

The car is stock, apart from : Exhaust, ECUTEK and Walbro Pump and was only outputting a Pathetic 125kw ATW, which im told is Normal for a stock WRX, boost was maxing at 15 psi. It idles completely perfectly with no idle fluctuation,I was reading up about those Fuel Controllers but from what I could see ,it seems most the time these units either work properly or don't work at all..

I'll take it to Stechnic and see what they say

AFAIk there are 2 Ecutek tuners in WA, MMS and Race Torque.

When I first got mine, it would stall at idle, and run lean at higher revs, so different, but a tune did fix it, when vacuum leak was't found.

Could be sucking in un-metered air, but what would I really know about your car?

Find a mechanic you like, as its a constant fault rather than intermittent, should be easier to fix, but its not like going to a doctor with a broken bone and its sticking out of your arm. They'll start with the usual obvious things that may have caused this and go from there.

It may take more than one visit to fix. It may also be more than one issue.
