I have a brand new SS Inductions big mouth intake kit to suit your model.

Hi flow snorkel and high flow resonator delete.

Unfortunately it will not fit my MY06 as the bonnet line is lower.

It cost over $300 will sell for $150

Pm if interested.

Theoretically, less resistance on air flow (ie resonator delete) more aire will go in to the turbo, hense leaning out the fuel mixture, and ecu can only compensate so much, u would get more power, since its leaner, but less knock control from ecu.

I've done it. Definite increase in induction and bov noise. Performance increase? If it has, i haven't noticed.

I wouldn't consider it a 'free' mod... Lost about 20-30km per tank.
