I think part of the problem was the spring rates
What were they again?

Orrrrr splash out on a well researched combination of replacement struts and suitable lowered springs.... then complain about the noise they make like Soksta did

Its constructive so I won't complain.

There seems to be a problem with the amount of aftermarket struts (inserts or complete) that are available on the 08+ WRX.
Well, there is one good solution (GTWorx) but landing them here with or without matching springs is a $2k or $1.5k exercise.

Spend a bit more and you can get some nice MCA Reds...

Had the same combination but didn't have the noise problems.

If you remember the test drive you took me on, they noise was there just not as pronounced.
Any how, getting off topic.

Haha aren't KW V3's very specific for track? I've heard they ridiculously unconformable...

Not at all. They have a very good adjustment range from stiff for the track and soft(ish) for the road. Although saying that I have never had mine anywhere near the softest setting for the road and I find them perfectly ok. I guess its personal taste though.

Could come down to the setting valving of the dampers, spring rate, compression and rebound settings, etc.
That said, the track and the road are two completely different surfaces.

Oh nice! They're mainly intriguing me due to their adjustable capabilities. I don't want to buy springs and have my car permanently somewhat lowered. I'de prefer to have some freedom!

Probably something I'll do a little further into the future though, currently focusing on other mods.

However just for a scope on types, what would people recommend? Although I'm not looking to spend a months pay haha
