RCE (Racecomp Engineering) springs are probably your best bet for properly R+Ded springs that are well matched to your GR shocks and chassis.

I heard rce's give fuck all drop?

Anyone used the Cobb springs, there cheap as hell.

RCE Yellow will drop 20mm, RCE Blacks (aka Regular Guy springs) will drop 25mm.
RCE Yellows are 6kg (front/rear), RCE Blacks are 4.9kg front/4.5kg rear.
RCE yellows are linear spring rates, RCE Blacks are progressive spring rates.

BTW those cobb springs are around 50lb/in firmer on the fronts, which is a fairly low increase on spring rates, also progressive springs.

It will be because they worked out that f*** all drop is the ideal amount to not ruin the handling of a GR I think the drop compared to early model WRXes is more and compared to late GR STis is less.

5mm drop is compared to STi I suppose?

The black springs seem pretty low here: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2328304 (2nd post)
