With any suspension mods, body roll/centrifugal force will always load up on the softest components. Oem engineers spend hours to fine tune the chassis with load testing to find the right bushing shock spring and allignment combo.

If u just change to coilover with stiff springs, ur strut tower might be the weak piont, thia is just an example. Kw is good because it doesn't have much higher spring rate than oem spring (oem:f5 r4, kw: f7 r5) and it reuse oem rubber top hat to eliminate lots of unwanted noise. But that price is always hard to swallow.

I started with suspension mods before I wanted more power. Swaybar, braces coilover most bushing and all mounts. Its great on track. But its just too hard on the road. If I would do again and daily my car, I would just do sway bar and wider track (lower offset rim with better tyres) and spend all money on power mods.

Thanks for that. I was thinking of 18x9.5 + 38 rims however haven't got very far in planning for wheels.

Your basically saying stick with the stock suspension? To be honest that's also a possibility - I'm just looking at every option at the moment and weighing up what would be better. If I were to go with that size wheel I don't think I can go much lower anyway..

If u want lower, coilover with adjustable top hat and softer spring will be my pick. That 9.5 by 38 rim will fit perfectly with -1.5 camber.

Mitch is as soft as a marshmallow ... KW Variant 3 are one of the best coilovers around bar the likes of horrendously expensive Ohlins et al.

Have driven many cars from Subaru to BMW with them and they are excellent.

Would buy for the Lib but sadly they don't make them for my model.

I was just to lazy to change them.. it's as simple as jumping under the car and turning then a couple of clicks.

It's hard to find good springs though.

RCE (Racecomp Engineering) springs are probably your best bet for properly R+Ded springs that are well matched to your GR shocks and chassis.
