OK i made some progress today.
I havent had much time at all to look at earth points but i purchased a JDM ecu to chuck in and see if it solved the problem.
Plugged it in and turned the keys. No clicking or noise except fuel pump bulding pressure.
Started the car and got it running after about 1min of turning over
So Either the Haltech ecu is stuffed or theres still some other issues because i still have a Check engine light for 2 errors
First one is pressure valve solenoid - CEL 45
and the second is - CEL 22 which is knock sensor.
Now the pressure valve is the one on the Driver side where the boost solenoid is? because that makes sense as theres a broken wire and its unplugged (last owners tuner had changed some things on it and im not sure where the vacuum hose n what not are meant to go)
but the one that has me stumped is knock sensor. as far as i know its still there and plugged it , but my first plan of attack is to checks earths.

Is there any issue in having a jdm ecu in a aus sti? (besides the Wire swap that is done to make the power fc work)
