Default Diff/Trans oil for MY04 Spec C

Hi All,

What oil have others been using in their sti's? Motul seems to be a favourite but is that still the one to get for a JDM spec c? I believe it has a 1.5 way rear diff if that makes a difference?

Thanks

thanks Nauli, do you use the 300v, ff-lsd or competition for the diff? What about the gearbox?

Thanks Bruno, but the Caltex site says that product is for suitable for viscous rear diff, and mine is a mechanical type. Have you used this in your 6 speed with success?

@nauli, just reading on rally sport direct and they are recommending 90pa for plated diffs and 300 for 6 speed. Is this what you use?

Not 100% sure...I have a plated front and rear. Maybe give Daniel at MMS a call and ask him what they put in my car. Whatever the grade it does the job!

I currently run Cusco 80w90 LSD oil in the rear diff, and Castrol Syntrax 75w-90 in the gearbox.
