Bolt it on, as well as all of the associated mods, and there's no reason as to why you shouldn't run a 12.

Roller/Ball/Thrust bearing...who cares. If it makes the numbers, drives well and does the times, who gives a shit.

amen bruv. thats the sort of answers/opinions i'm lookin for.

Yup, 12.87 @ 107mph with VF22 running 18psi, Link ECU, up-pipe and exhaust.

Stock air box, stock top mount intercooler, stock fuel system.

I got mine for 1090 new 3 years ago, and thats why I bought it because it was cheap...otherwise I probably would have gotten a VF34, which was big bucks at the time.

As for lag, any good tuner should be able to tune out most of it. Lag is a T67 snail on a 2 litre, not a ball bearing VF series turbo...

i doubt a vf 22 would pull 450 hp, you would need a bigger turbo than that, but there again on some dynos it could pull 500hp........

900 for a decent reflash, and prob about 1200 if you get a 2nd hand link and get it tuned.

I recommend the reflash....PM me if you want details of the person who can do it for you.

i have a vf22 in my 99 gt forester with only a diff back zorst, no ecu mods running about 12psi & its heaps better than the tdo4 i had on there previously, it spools up in early 3000's and hits 12psi around the 3500, i have a 3inch turbo back zorst on its way & ecu mods coming too, but in general the $400 price i paid for the vf22 s/h and the power difference is well worth the money
