Probably lost electronic control of the Boost Control Valve. BUT it sounds a bit low for the manual wastegate actuator?
Check the wiring of the BCV. Have you been playing with the boost controller just before it stuffed up? Left any "friends" in the car unsupervised?

Have you removed/replaced the vacuum hose in between the wastegate and the turbo?? If so, Could be because you're missing the olive restrictor in that hose

Nah car is wired up as it was when it was running and holding 20psi no worries. We tried disconnecting the EBC totally and just running the wastgate compleately shut and it still couldnt produce boost over 5psi. So the gizzmo isnt the problem... The wastgate is also not the problem as it is closed and no scream can be heard at all. Bov is not leaking as I tried having that totally forced closed and still no help.

I think the turbo has lost some blades out back...or exhaust gasket is leaking or something. ... idles fine thoug

I think my gate has a 1bar spring in it so theres no way it could be cracking open by itself.

I think that the turbo is going to be the thing thats rooted..... FMIC has no obvious holes at the front and its unlikely that the back of it will have holes in it.

Should have the info on what it is on monday after TEnagah take a close inspection.

Solved.... Tenagah Found That One Of The Intercooler Pipe Silicons Had Burst On The Drivers Side And You Couldnt See The Hole From Underneath.

Car Sounds So Bloody Tough Now! I Should Charge Pedestrians To Hear It.

Hey tuna like the new setup at tenagah.... I can tell ya that my car feels heaps better after the gate and the scream is quite addictive. Having a low boost setting is great because it comes on really early and u scream from like 4500 to 7000.

I think it will give you a bunch more horses in the top end and with my EBC I see 13.3psi rock solid and very steady all the way to redline on my 13.5psi setting, so the gate makes boost control so stable!
