Well i decided to leave a mates after some drinks on a friday night, as i was coming onto marshall rd from bellafin i floored it from the lights...Only to cop a flashlight on the road due to some people from a cruise being hoon lawed, my car was added to the list. After about half an hour he said they did not want to go through paperwork on me so i was let go, he said i shall recieve a summons in the mail and i told him how much of a dickhead i was...They were nice enough to have a conversation anout the ol subi but yeh.

Just wanting to vent haha cant belive im going to lose my licence

Generally if they "hoon law" you, then let you go, you will get a summons.

So what exactly are they going to book you for? Did you do a burnout or anything considered hoon law? (I just don't get what you mean by 'floored it' to be pulled over)

Personally, if you don't receive anything at the time I don't see how they can send you a summons later on. Surely that leaves open a huge legal minefield.

But yeah, I guess the moral of the story is don't be stupid on busy streets - especially if there is a cop car with other pulled over vehicles in front of you.
