had my car system installed today. the amps under the seats aint even bolted down. after telling them I wanted it in the boot and them saying it can be done, they called me up saying me boot is too small. so I let them do it under the seats. got my car back. seats werent hiding the amp or wires at all and worse of all the amps weren't even bolted down and I got some shit saying they can only screw them to the carpet. wtf ??

That seems pretty dodgey. Although I didnt screw mine down to the floor either. What I did is stick some velcro down under the amp and it holds itself onto the carpet perfectly.

Name and Shame... Who was it that did the install?

So take it back and get it done properly..

Or get your money back..

Or some sort of refund..

There's your options - if it was legit with a receipt/invoice - you have every ground to stand on

If it was a cashy.. badluck

Had something similar,

Amp under passenger seat, seat not rebolted down properly.
Used to bump and clunk over bumps and rash movements

if your sub box allows you to, you can always bolt the amp onto your sub box or behind or near the box in the boot, every car should be able to have at least 2 subs and a couple of amps in the one boot.

most prob the guys that did this were too lazy to do it properly, very dodge...

alberts osborne park. cash job but got a receipt. he says by law, they can't screw it through the carpet and before they told me they will bolt it down under the seats which will make it harder to steal. the wires are everywhere, not even hidden and exposed like hell.

and the carpet is blocking my boot and fuel lever

Take it back man....
On a side note i bet if you took the deck out you'd see a nice twist together job on the wiring, the word soldering probably means nothing to them.

Mate, take it back to them, show the guy at the counter the install and tell them your not happy and you want a full refund. Then bring the car to me, and i'll fix it.
