it really isnt worth getting installs done at a car audio shop unless you are having some serious gear and custom stuff installed....save some serious dollars and have some fun on a sat arvo by doing it yourself! not to mention you can get the job done exactly how you like it!

Hence getting 14/15 year olds working at car stereo shops with no formal training apart from a 30 min briefer from their 18yo co-worker..

Spot on.

Wth... i installed my audio for my old car about 2-3 years ago at same store (Osborne Park), did it beautifully (cosmetically and quality). Was using 1 amplifier, 1 sub woofer, 1 set of 6.5" and 1" tweeter. And also was tuned properly with small mic that comes from Pioneer 7000 series for audio balance. All parts were from Ebay, including cables, battery terminal thingy, etc. And cost only like $85... coz i was working next door to them.

Can't believe they did dodgy thing on you. Who's the person name that did your car?

Cheers
Gerry

I wouldnt play with it your self any more until you get a refund or have it fixed, dont tell them you have tried other subs dont say nothing like that just go back say this is a bullshit install and your not happy take photos of the exposed wired bad earth and anythign else that is wrong send it with a big email to head office of alberts and then call them to confirm the email.

once u have it solved go see alberts in morley and see grant he is a champ and has always looked after me. So i would trust them

hope it works well for you mate

Mate of mine went there on the weekend, and apart from the fact that the sub box wasn't strapped in or bolted down in the boot, all else seems fine at the moment.

I was speaking to the guy behind the desk there, and I mentioned I wanted some work done. He told me to give them a call in a couple of weeks as they got a new installer starting work there and she's got like 20 years experience and is top notch...
