side topic...im prob about to use westside car audio in ossie park? any good?

Uglycong - Sounds like the power input stage is stuffed, if you had it right now, I would ask you to do the "smell" test. Unfortunately, having a bad earth is probably one of the worst things you could do to an amp. Good luck with it, I hate hearing stories like this.

If you goto Westside in Cannington, go ask for Ken and say you know Lewis, he will look after you.

yeah something is fried. hopefully I'm not liable for the repairs.

Last time this happened to me, one of the output transistors had fried. That's probably worst case scenario. Doesn't take a good technician long to find and fix the issue.
