After spending some time in Europe, I noticed a lot of drivers flashed their lights, especially on the freeways to get people to pull over if they're in the fast lane etc Seems to work fine over there. I've tried using the same technique here and some people do pull over, but I've had a couple of road rage incidents and also people even slowing down 'how dare I flash my lights'. And then there's the clueless folk, mystified as to why you're flashing your lights. Do any of you guys do that? Or if not, how do you get someone to move over?

I do this when people are driving too slow in the right lane on the Fwy. Seems to work for me

Yeah thats when I do it, but I get a mixed response.

The difference people are courteous in Europe and can drive, over here people think they own the piece of road they drive on and how dare you want to get past.

i do it too, when assholes change lanes from a busy lane into right hand lane and go the same speed as before, blocking the right hand lane.

Driving like a European in Australia gets some dirty responses...
