I need to look into this beep test - strength != fitness
Yeh you also don't require a loading phase which is weird.

I use Musashi whey protein powder. the P30 one I think. It is awesome because it disolves into water really nicely whereas most other whey proteins tend to clump together badly in a class of water or milk.

how much protein or carb g per does body building needs a day by body kg? 2 grams or more per kg?

seen on some website it says 1.5 g per lb of bodyweight so if im 68 kg/149.6 lbs that equal 224 g protein. and other website says maximum use 2 g per kg of bodyweight so if im 68 total of 136 g?

so which i should follow?

I heard from a former miss australia (body building) that if you take more than 20g at any one time then you just turn the rest of it into fat. To do with your bodies limit for protein digestion at any one time. So whatever amount you take avoid those bars that say 30g or more. Pointless.

I don't know how true that is but I might look into it, thanks for the tip. As far as I go I usually split it between 3 shakes a day, 1 for breakfast 1 after training (usually lunch) and one before bed. I also have a small peice of steak and chicken during the day for the remainder.

Didnt think protein could turn into fat? The carbs/sugars maybe..

Though I have heard rumors that your body cant process more than 30g at one time, dont know how true that is...but general rule is 2g protein per kg of body weight per day.

The protein gets turned into energy like anything else.... however it stresses your kidneys more as there is more stuff to filter out of the blood from the digestion process of protein, so I don't think eating just huge amounts would be good for u at all.
