Thanks for everyone's advice and opinions appreciate getting a different perspective on it.

Dan, 6months at the accademy for training sounds good to me... my ground school was only 6days to become a flight attendant lol. But yeah I understand what you mean. Dog handler would be pretty interesting, the dog gets to live with you apparently and you can't have any other dogs, or so I hear.

Jester - weld? doesn't that mean picking up an apprenticeship?

Welby - Crane driver, 130k a year... up north right? FIFO?

Good luck becoming a dog handler in the police, there are very far and few positions available in that area of the force from what I understand.
