I got appendicitis on Tuesday, and I must say, that was pretty painful...painful enough to induce vomiting anyway, and an injection of morphine helped to reduce the pain down to a dull ache (sort of like when you get hit in the nuts).

motocross crash. broke my lower jaw in half, gap between my two bottom teeth was so big, people thought i had lost teeth, broken collarbone and rib into lung. biggest short term pain was collarbone, intermediate was jaw and long term my lung trying to heal. imagine every breath someone shoving a rib into lung. needless to say i fucking hate dirt bikes now

Laser correction on both eyes but not the newer doesn't hurt to much slice a flap of epithelium off version ( Had that the second time ). The original scrape the epithelium off with a scalpel and burn away.

The first eye they gave me a peth injection and a box of panidine forte but only had 3 of the tablets so they wouldn't give me the peth first time round. Should have lied and said I gobbled the whole box because dam the second on was so much worse.

They reckon the original method about 25% of people had gone through a whole box by the next morning and wanted more. Very unpleasant 3 days.

The newer method not comfortable but doesn't really rat on the pain scale.

I had my wisdom teeth out when I was 19.
I had it done in the chair over two sessions a week apart

Because of the fact that my teeth were severely impacted they had to chip part of my jawbone away (apparently).

Anyway I could hardly speak after the first session and was on liquid only for several days. As soon as I started to feel better it was time for the next two.

It's a toss up between that or this wedding I went to where the couple were really into Celine Dion..

the worst pain I ever experienced would be a burst ear drum... Doctors had to give me sedatives to knock me out. Fark I was crying like a baby

It easily eclipses the other things I've had that rates up there on the pain scale;
- shattered wrist I got from falling out of a tree
- broken nose
- car crash at 100km/hr (my mate drove right through a T intersection into a tree near Kambalda, reckons the sun was in his eyes)
- being knocked out cold playing indoor cricket
- surgery to scrap my eye cornea
