True. They are kunts at the pits when ur sticker is on a slant. Happen to my friends s15, slapped it at the usual place, but turned 90degrees.

Unmark car, with plain clothes...probably Detectives, D's they have the biggest attitude problem, like a dildo is constantly in their ass. Ive only ever met 2 good detectives for having a same point of view in certain things.

I feel for you scooby99. The law is unbelievable. Similar thing happened to me, Christmas eve last year, booze bus on Marmion Ave. Every car got waved through until I was in line. I get pulled in, breathlised and nicely said 'Easy job for me mate, I don't drink'. So he says 'No worries, 0.00% your free to go'. I take off slowly and 20 seconds later a undercover comes flying up behind me with lights on (obviously at the booze bus). Goes over my car giving me 14 defects. No worries, I didn't argue except when he pulled out his RULER and proceeded to tell me my car was too low all round. I know it's not legal, but telling me it's 'on the ground' because the grass on the median strip was higher than my side skirts. I asked if he would like me to park on the bitchumen so he can get a accurate ride height he told me to 'fuck off and speak when I'm spoken too'. He added my gauges to the defect list. Funnily enough the 2 pillar mounted gauges were 'illegal' because 'if I had a crash, they could dislodge from the pillar and strike me in the face', but the 3 Defi's on my dash which do obstruct my view are 'perfectly legally positioned'. Then he decided to sticker me for 'no bonnet vent cover' under my hood because 'if I had a accident, my sump cracks, oil will go everywhere on my windscreen and become a fire hazard'. Since when does oil catch fire? He proceeded to give me a defect for my Pivot engine start button and my keypad start 'loosely mounted' in the GC8 dash comparment (above air con vents). I agree with you, some Police should not be allowed on the road. I hope you report them and hear something back. That sticker of yours is obstructing your vision more than your gauge pod. Good luck man.

Ok, so you admit fair enough for the yellow. I'm assuming you were expecting it sooner or later.

To have put it in the middle of the windscreen on the piss like that is like telling the pits to take your money, don't bother with an inspection and send you on your way. But then to only give you 70 minutes is flat out fucking piss weak

Report them on their conduct and follow it right through if you think that will help. Unfortunately, I don't beleive anything will come of it.

end of the day i've had this car for a while, gone through booze buses etc and this is the first yellow sticker on this car. No matter what occupation or poistion you hold, you can always do your job to a fair and just level. This is taking the piss.

As for moving the yellow sticker i won't be doing that. I'll do everything to make the car legal so the guys at the pits don't have anything to complain about. I have a company car so not urgently required the yellow to be taken off. Car will sit in the garage for till i get everything sorted

Your probably lucky they gave you 70 minutes and not made you get it towed.
Bonnets are designed to crumple, carbon fibre will shatter. Could you imagine how much damage it could do to a pedestrian or yourself in an accident. That would be why they were so harsh on you.
I agree with REXZIST that you should probably move the sticker before hitting the pits.

So then why can you get a permit for a carbon fiber bonnet if your car is pre 1995? Ie. 180sx, S13, R33, R32.

Laws are fucked.

i was told by a cop the more the sticker is on an angle the less time you have to drive it, so other cops know. My mate got red stickered and the yellow sticker was completly sideways.
