Red stickers haven't been around best part of a decade.
As for the time limit, any can be given. I gave a guy 30 minutes once. Nothing wrong with that at all.

So are centre pod guages illegal? Was going to do the 3 guages in clock position thing as I thought they were legal/do not obstruct vision considering the bonnet scoop is just as high, but if its going to cause yellow sticker problems...

any mod is a possible yellow sticker situation, depends on your driving, if your a tool when pulled over etc.

As far as im aware centre pod is fine, A pillar is apparently illegal.

it is all dependent on the angle of the gauge in relation to the driver, that was what my mate was told when he was done for his A pillar gauges so he put a centre dash pod in.

My 50c

As giddy said, enough time to get home is all you need... Beats getting ordered to pay for a tow?

As far as CF hoods go, google yourself some post-crash pics of riced up wanna be streetracer cars. Dangerous shit. Cool mod though and there was a time when I would have taken the risk myself.

Morale of the story, dont make illegal modifications if you can't man up to the consequences - it's within their power to throw the book at you. You people are worse than performance vehicle drivers who whinge about fuel prices.

Dunno bout in WA, but SA A pillar pods are legal, as long as they don't exceed past the dash. So in the case of like mine, when they're in the bottom corner they're about four or so inches behind the front of the dash. Came up legal when I went to the pits. But it could be different over here. Just on something stockers wrote, I nearly had a heart attack when I realised I was only paying 1.58 for ultimate today. Made me wanna go buy a hummer.
