this has turned into quite a funny thread

i don't really get into road rage as you just don't know if some crazy fuck is going to pull a gun and shoot you in the face

speaking of dickhead 4wd drivers though, i had this guy smash into the back of me on the freeway one morning, i wasn't happy, i jumped out of the car & went off & he had a go right back, then he got out of his big nissan patrol & realised i was about a foot taller than him and clearly larger built, he shut right up and became quite apologetic

note: i only got angry because he smashed into my car (how could you not) i would not have got out the car and got all larey if he'd just been tailgating me or cut me off

And there lies the problem. It doesn't make them think twice.

You go back and tell all you mates how you 'told off this pretend tough guy'

They go back and tell their mates how they 'kicked shit out of this other loser in a poxy rice burner'

And the cycle continues.

The manliest thing to do is not be agro, but be beyond that. Let them have their rant and they quickly dissapear.

Road rage isn't the best idea these days. We are talking possible jail time, not 200hrs community service.

Take down their description, make/model of car, rego number, time of day, direction they were travelling etc. Take it to the cops and file it with them. Might take awhile but (well at least for me) it worked. There is a thread with the story in it but bacically some tool in his siq VN auto 6cyl lost it coming out of a servo and nearly took the front of my 02 STi out because he thought he could do wicked skids. He then went up the road and hand brakied to a stop at the lights. I followed him til I turned to go home. Went to the cops and gave them the info. A few weeks later they rang back asking if I would like to go to court and state my story, no problems but was never officially asked. the driver was known to them and I would believe having a break from carrying his licence around with him
