About a year ago i was working on an ATM in mandurah, and had to replace a part which some dumbshit had pot-riveted the duress alarm on. Across from the atm was a kmart which is where i bought my current drill, a $20 Maximate or some shit. Did the job. makes a horrible bearing noise or something, and the hammer button slips over every now and then, but it still goes around |

I have Sidchrome and CGL tools (made by Stanley, stamped with Coventry's own "home" brand). They are awesome.
I'll never skimp on tools, ever since I was using a cheap socket and expensive breaker bar a few years ago, to undo a tight suspension bolt. I stood on the bar, jumped up and down, and the crappy China socket cracked down the middle....this threw me off the bar and went backwards into my garage wall, hitting the back of my head on the wall. |

Something like a Supatool kit would be good. You can find them at K Mart for cheap and most of the 150, 200, etc. piece kits have pretty much everything you need for around the house and garage jobs.
Sidchrome and Kingchrome are one step above that. If you're really keen, go Snap On or Blue Point. Quote:
