Stick with property for better or worse you'll guarantee a 6% average growth per year. Right now is NOT the time to be jumping ship, too late, ride it out and lick your wounds at financial review June 09. US bail out is a tactic, bargains to be had and some BIG money will rear its head come the next financial year.

The our dollar will fall in the next few weeks mainly due to a predicted 0.5% cut in the rates this month from the RBA, I'd expect at least 5c drop.

Im no buff by any means, but the snippets i have heard from the news:

If the US government doesnt bail out their financial sector, they may be in for a depression.

Interest rates worlwide will come down

Hold on to your real estate, dont jump ship

Dont be nieve and buy stocks cos theyre falling just yet "Dont catch a falling dagger"

And W.A isn't too badly affected cause our market is tied up with the asian market which isnt too badly affected.

Thats what the telebox told me

Yeah but the market is expecting it and has therefore already priced it in. You'd only get a big move like that if the RBA did something unexpected- like drop it a full 1%.

My share portfolio is now MT, the pain has passed (like a kidney stone).

Last time I bought some stuff over the interweb it was nearly dollar for dollar.
Bought a phone over the weekend and it was 80c - makes a big difference.
Will recover shortly, but I wouldn't expect it to gain more than 3-4cents.
