Im hoping the bailout will cause the US dollar to weaken, so bringing it back to about 90c...

Very bearish on the US dollar long term.

You cannot just keep printing money and pretend the problem is going to go away.

You're going to see the biggest transition of wealth from paper assets (debt) into hard assets (gold and silver)

Gold = $2000 an ounce end of 2009

This bailout package? Privatizing returns and socializing loses. Thank you comrade Paulson!

i am watching the exchange rates go in my faovr at the monet in june this year i got 1.93 to the british pound

over the last couple of weeks i have watched it go from 2.10 to to 2.27 which is good for me as i am about to exchange contracts on my house and buy a whole heap of aussie dollars

does anyone think the big miners are going to drop further? bhp closed at 31.60 or something, its a 6 month low for them, reckon they will drop further? been thinking about buying 3-4 maybe 5k worth of bhp, just unsure if they are gonna down further. Keeping my eye on them for the moment and a few others, might wait and see wether this bail out makes it through the house of reps.

and they were $48 not long ago

RTIO - $95 odd and were $150ish mid year

yeah i know peeps who bought 10 or so k for like 34 n sold out at 50, bastards! and also some who bought at 50 and still have them now....raped!!
