Although moving 1700-1800kg's off the line quickly will certainly take its toll on the clutch of a manual one would think. still better to replace clutches than trying to fix a weak semi auto tho

Hi,
How did you know that! Impressive. Just for reference, here's a GTR going 10.88 with no LC. http://videos.streetfire.net/video/A...088_201390.htm Cheers, Nik

why build a car that has been sold as a "supercar" to win races, set fast times etc, and sell it to the general public saying you can't do this, you can't do that... blah blah... fair enough if it's a hyundi getz and you break it, they weren't designed for that, but a gtr???? come on, they sold it as a porshe beater at a cheaper price, but you can't actually go chop them or you void your warranty cause they are worried about failures... It should have been sold as a extra option for more coin and a different warranty... I think they are an awesome car but maybe they should have done some more r&d and avoided this whole fiasco..

Hi,
997 Turbo is an 11.4 sec qtr mile car... GTR is sub 11, and as seen in the video I posted today, 10.8 without the VDC engaged. I started this thread, so I'm hardly a GTR fanboy. But the fact is, you're going bloody quick for the dollars in a 35. Cheers, Nik
