As for the fights in Brisbane, you are kidding me right? I have seen some massive fights in Brisbane. I was a teenager when I lived there (16 or so years ago) and every teenager would have been carrying a knife. Over here noway near as many kids would.

I lived in Algester mate have a look there or SunnyBank Hills, not to sure how close they are to Indroopilly but they are nice suburbs.

Cheers mate will give these a look.

Born in Brisbane and loved living there, moved to Perth and love living here. Both have their ups and downs and as most people descibe perth 'just a big country town'. LOVE the Gold Coast, has to be my fav place in Aus

I already said, breakwater and alot of others now...

I like doing lots of things besides drinking and going to cas for example just going shopping but hey I can't because the shops open after I start work and close before I finish and hey I'm working saturdays now aswell so no chance of going then. So I guess I'll have to wait till thursday or all the way into the city on sunday to buy something I want right?
Yes there is more to do in life but I like the option of doing what I want in MY spare time, not time dictated to me by politicians and old men voters who are to scared of complete sunday trading and late hours during the week.

As was said Perth is just a big country town and for some people thats the lifestyle they want but hey its not for me. But hey I'm a "MUPPET" for wanting to do what I want and live somewhere I want to :P

$7/$8 a corona is cheap for Perth, very cheap.

And if your comparing Perths harbour town to DFO near the brisbane airport you are crazy. It extremely cheaper, I got a set of new everlast runners for half the price I could get them in Perth on SALE.
Its funny that you say to see the world to get an opinion, I have travelled ALOT around the world which is what has given me my views. I travel to Brisbane alot because my family moved there aswell so I have an even better idea because I've been past the first "outer layer" you see of places on a brief holiday.
Haha Muppet, righto buddy, seems like your the one living in a fantasy land, I'd love to visit the Perth you talk about.

Perth is a great place to retire and thats the way some people like it, however I don't.

Not to mention the local government is trying to remove happy hours/shots/glasses/etc.
A) NO...not the one at the airport. If you had a clue about queensland in general, you'd know I am talking about their 'original' and best one. The one at the airport is very average.

B) RSL FOOD? LOL... I gather you're 106, eat with your teeth straight out of the glass jar and enjoy a dirty casino and enjoy the good 'ol RSL club that smells like a dozen cats that have just had a piss.

C) I love the gold coast[not brisbane though - besides south beach]. I constantly travelled there for a vacation and was fortunate enough to purchase there a couple of times. But you're looking at it through coke bottle glasses. Enjoy your time there... don't let the door hit you on the way out of WA..muppet.

Perth is the most sheltered place in aus i think we dont get big cyclones and defistating floods and attacks. weather and danger wise perth is prob the best place to live. so we dont have many places to go. big deal to many dick heads out and around anyway would rather stay at home and have a drink and meal with good friends than goto a pub.

Drinks over east same as here when i went to gold coast i was paying $8+ for drinks at all the strip clubs i went to hehe
just how it is.

Anyway mate good luck with your move and new job. work hard get some money then come back to perth i say.

(edit) Only thing i would like perth to have is sunday and night trading where shops are always open. but thats not somthing i would call perth shit for. but would be nice to have

A) If the one at the airport isn't as good its about 100x better than "harbour town" so I'd love to see the other one.

B) I don't know which RSLs you went to but some of the bigger ones are fucking awesome, great food aswell. Of course there are smalled dodgey ones but I still rate some of those better than alot of Perth "upperclass" resteraunts.

Oh and since we are presuming things I'm pretty sure this is you in this video right?
http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=dDbNuJ25ZzU

C) I'm hardly looking at it through coke bottle glasses I clearly just appreciate the things you don't and don't agree with ALOT of the voters in WA. Thats why differant cities are differant, each to there own mate. And calling me a muppet for the second time in a row?? Do you steal all your insults of 14year old forum users? Grow up mate and realize you can't force your beliefs on other people. Taking generalized views of places will get you no where. If your happy here thats fine, thats why people live here.Me personally, I hate this place and always have, I have travelled alot around australia and the world and am not happy here. I'm not happy with things at the moment and I' not happy with the ways things are going. Perhaps I will find what I want in Brissy and perhaps I wont but I refuse to settle for less.

nyway Im over keyboard battling you, as much as you seem to enjoy its boring as fuck. I'm not going to be dignifying you with a response frm now on. convo over. Cheers.
