The longer the timeframe is made to be, the more chance of deaths to occur in said timeframe. This is true of statistics. For any given time of the year there will be (let's say for arguements sake) 2 deaths per week.

The week from Xmas to New Year you could well say there will be 2 deaths. Add another week in front and behind that, and hey!!! You just got 6 deaths! Meaning it gives a case for all sorts of nonsense laws, restrictions and fines to be imposed next time around, because 6 is larger than 2.

Our police officers are recognised Australia-wide and indeed, around the world and their skills are highly sought after.

They are professionals, recognised as being professionals and are doing a terrific job.
Yes Karl, yes you do.

Driving to perth today I spotted 4 cars dumped on the road side between Bunbury and Perth, I'm assuming stolen. Wonder how many of those were the cause of accidents over the break?

id really like them to focus on the trucks, caravans a slower moving vehicles which should be off the road during peak holiday travel times.
these slow vehicles cause people to take silly risks.

Thats because speed cameras were introduced after 1950. Nothing to do with car safety features....
