Well surprise surprise, Karl and the boys in blue are disappointed. Road toll of 14 deaths ( five in town and 9 in the country). Do you think they are happy with the number of thefts, break and enters and assaults? Twice as many deaths in the country should tell them something but its doubtful they will acknowledge it imo.

lame. I ahve no idea where all these police were, because i drove to albany and back, new norcia and back, pinjarra and back a few times and lapped perth non stop, and saw a single speed camera the entire time

Lots of people caught speeding.
Lots of people caught drink driving.
A few people out of those caught for offenses died.

Maybe its about time the Police / Govt realised people can't drive (or think) and they need to fix the roads and the road rules so even the most incompetent driver can use them safely?

Proper driver education/training would go a long way too. Generally roads are ok here, plenty of black spots but it's the driving culture here that destroys most.

I'd be interested in stats of those who die from a motor vehicle crash caused by themselves how many have done just 1 day of a advanced/driver training course.

Ditto to Jester's comments, I did Perth - Exmouth - Coral Bay - Exmouth - Perth, over 7 days, saw 1 cop driving the whole time.

Ones that may of been marked cars. We all know how sneaky cops are getting with there random vehicles. Not just Falcons and Commonwhores any more.
