I'm with JME here, they might seem like nice blokes but they are really cunts for giving you a sticker for a scoop in the first place. The amout of illegal cars out there with bald tires and worn suspention should be more important to go after but these cops always go for the young guys in performance cars because it's easier. id be pissed off if i got a yellow for the tiny angle on my exhaust...dont think the pits would take to kindly to my car...

the only time ive been pulled over is when i was giving it some stick (in the club spec) and some cops saw. other than that driven past/next to/behind/through booze buses countless times without incident. Luck of the draw i guess. Best of luck damo!

Yeh I guess but it wasn't really he angle it was the fact that the back of the cannon was the lowest point and it was just to low I recon the car will be fine getting over hopfully

More likely they nailed you for the lack of ground clearance where the exhaust runs under the rear diff cradle, it's the lowest point of a WRX exhaust.

Put stock scoop on and stick the silencer in the cannon.

Go straight to the pits.

Get car passed, go home, write up a bill for the work time you have lost + pit fees. Send to police and say stop wasting peoples time.
