My mate lives in Wattle-up in bush land an a couple of years ago they just appeared everywhere round his property, they invaded his house on a major scale i just could not believe how many there were.
I was also working just north of wangara on a house an it was dusk and i remember seeing them crawling from the agricultural land over the road to wards this house, they were like an army going to war, thousands of them. I hate it when you tread on them the leave blood ever where an it stinks. I don't think my mate has tried coopex IL let him know hopefully that will keep in under control come winter.

When I lived in Kalamunda these fuckers raided the house. I used to just boil up the kettle and pour hot water on 'em.
Maybe Cane Toads will eat them. Someone should introduce that species to Perth and see how it goes... |

Talcum powder works fantastic with ants. I will never buy ant powder again.
The bastards invaded the cats food, so I sprinkled some talc around the bowl (not on the bowl, obviously...) and within 30 seconds they were all gone and haven't come back. They fkn hate the shit. Of course the cat then looked like a crack addict and left white footprints over the carpet, but she did smell nice. |
