Crate motors
If anyone is interested in buying a crate motor go directly from the source- the US. Check out this site and the prices!!!! Is $1850 US to deliver to the major cities in Australia, all motor prices in US dollars of course but shitloads cheaper than Australia and make good power tuned on 91-93 octane for the street motors! E85 tuned motors make more and then theres the race motors. I keep drooling over the supercharged big blocks. www.shafiroff.com

The US uses a different octane rating to us so ignore that if your thinking you can get a super duper engine that runs on the cheap stuff.
Their 93 is about 98RON. To convert US to Euro RON: US rating * 22 / 21 = RON To convert Euro RON to US: Euro RON * 21 / 22 = US rating The US gets it rating as a calculation of two different ratings... RON+MON / 2 = US rating. |
