Default Query Re: Nissan Navara

Was wondering if there is any benefit in adding a turbo timer to

http://www.nissan.com.au/webpages/mo...ara_model.html

(car in link is exact model I'm referring to)

turbo diesel, dont know much about diesel motors.

Thoughts?

I don't think you would be boosting it hard enough to need one.

my brother used to just leave his running for a couple of minutes. Didn't bother with a turbo timer

as long as you don't drop a 5 minute heli out the front of your house then park it straight up and turn the key off to run inside and hide from the cops, are you ever in that much of a hurry you can't just drive like a grandma for the last few minutes before you get home?

Thanks for the input guys, the timer would simply be a precautionary messure for piece of mind, and not performance related one bit.

Seems to me that it would be for more random wtf factor then actual benefit?
