Haha yeah before the nav my brother had a terrano and he did have a turbo timer in that (was already in the car when he bought it) and people used to come up to him in the shopping centre car parks and tell him he had left his car on.

On another note when my sister bought her xr6 she got a flat battery as she thought it was 'one of those cars where the lights turn themselves off'

The D40 Navara's Yd25ddti engines have a similar thermo siphon set up to what we have on our Scooby's....there's no need to run them down other than the time it takes to grab your wallet & phone out of the console.

Coolant keeps flowing through the core even after the engine has stopped.

had one in my old rex but just used to turn it off every time after getting out, never had a turbo fuck up, Its not really needed.....
