Some religious lobby groups have proposed that the scheme be extended for the betterment of society, and could include such measures as instantly and permanently disabling a car engine in the event of blasphemous speech or a rude gesture by an occupant.

Hahahahaha...oh wait. They were being serious. :|

Poll
Do you support the Australian Government's proposal for mandatory Internet filtering?
Yes, I support the government's fair and reasonable mandatory filtering scheme.
No, I am a pervert.
No, I hate children.
No, I am a criminal.

I'm a pervert, child-hater and a crim. But I could only vote for one I'm afraid, and so I voted for 'No, I am a criminal' as I am a criminal for perving on child-hating under-aged children.

One has to question their motives and whether such people would prefer to see mothers with unborn babies repeatedly run over by high-powered vehicles on our roads," said Mr Control.

It's a moral dilemma.
If they're a single mother, on welfare with lots of shitty kids and the car is a really nice high power car, with nice rims and low suspension and shit then yeah, why not?

A car is still potentionally a deadly device no matter what the speed it is driven on the road if the driver is not paying attention to what's happening around them. what about the morons who talk and text on there mobile phones while driving I'd be happier to see the gov install mobile phone jammers to cars.

But for them to take away my democratic right to drive how I see fit well that's not on.
