Glad cops actually did something, but you can see why they are often reluctant to discharge their guns. 2 people were hit with the shots fired, 1 was a bystander. That's 50%.

As much as im all for the guard using his weapon against the would be bandits, I fear there is going to be a terrible backlash against him for using deadly force. Cops dont get let off easily for firing their gun, and this armed guard is still only a citizen. Especially when some guy down the street got hit :/

The interesting thing about this is, if this crime was committed in the USA, because of the felony muurder rule, the dead robber's accomplice would be charged with murder. I think there was a recent case in Florida, 4 guys attempted to car jack someone, he shot one of them dead, he got off scott free and the 3 car jackers got charged with felony murder.
