Yeah i heard about this today also, didn't think Ford was going to bring these to OZ, comparably priced to what i'm paying for the Golf R and will be arriving around the same time as mine as well.

Looks tough and i'm sure goes like stink...hopefully i won't regret my decision when i see one of these on the road.

Still front wheel drive only though. FAIL.

I love the RS, but can't believe they havent made it AWD.

The build quality won't compare with the golf. The RS is the ultimate boy racer with limited edition appeal. Will go hard too (and looks PORN to boot), but the golf would most likely be easier to live with.

When's the comparo Karl?

100% agree! VW vs. Ford? No contest in build quality! And Lets see how much the Golf R resale value is in 5 years time compared to the RS
