That's got to be the best write-up since the election was called.

Modern Laborites like imported beer (with lime added), but most prefer

Another interesting evolutionary side note: most of their women have
higher testosterone levels than their men. Most social workers, personal

Laborites.
Nice cut and paste, but that sounds more like a description of the Young Liberals movement.

What good will that do? Do you have some kind of statistical backup that shows the age demographics for Labor votes at the previous election? Instead of laying blame on "those that voted in Labor", blame your preferred party for passing shit like Work Choices and affecting and/or scaring previous Liberal voters into voting for another party.

My old man's place of work for nearly 20 years tried changing his position to casual, at age 54. Just because they could. He called their bluff and didn't sign a new contract. He's still there today, but that was enough for him, a Liberal voter, to change his vote last election. There would have been millions just like him unfortunately.

He voted with his and his family's best interests at heart at the time. That's what we all do, isn't it? So why do we get shitty at how other people use their vote? We're all fairly hypocritical when we discuss politics, myself included.

Very rarely does anyone vote with someone else's best interests in mind, or for society as a whole. Most of us vote with a greedy subconscious. Deny it all you want. We vote so that we as individuals are hopefully in the best position possible during the election term. That's why so many people bleat the word "economy"... no-one wants to have to give up one of their three 4-wheeled toys siting in the garage and driveway, or their McMansion, or lose their "investment property" or jet ski after realising they over-capitalised during the "boom". This is what irritates me... people are so blinded by "economy" and their own material wealth that they think Liberal can carry that trend forever. I guess that remains to be seen, as I think Liberal will be elected in this Saturday.

FWIW as much as I despise Abbott, Liberal should be elected just for the sake of a 2-4 term Liberal : 1 term Labor ratio. It helps even things out in the long term, and you need a Labor Government to "spend the money" that a Liberal Government "saved". Unfortunately it seems as though Liberal likes to make cuts to important areas like Health and Education in order to line the coffers of other industry.

Here it is, plain and simple. I've already voted (postal), and my vote went for the Libs BECAUSE YES, CALL ME GREEDY, BUT I'M LOOKING OUT FOR MYSELF. Simple as that. I've been in the workforce under both Lib and Lab Govs, and to be comlpetely honest, even though I was affected by workchoices, it was beneficial to me. It always seems that people that whinge about Workchoices never seemed to deal with it first hand but my mate, my brother, my cousins golf caddys wife, etc etc. I have no interest in sparking up a debate about Yokes or Confederate America or whatever the fuck that clown was on about, I'm merely putting forth my two cents.

I would just like people to be aware of what kind of ideology they're voting for and what that leads to in the long term when they vote for a major party. They are just 2 sides of the same coin who are both funded by the same massive corporations, who's motivation is solely profit/power. The attached files are most definitely worth reading in my opinion, i don't agree with all of the crazy theories that are up on the guys website, but those 2 doc's are right on the money. Hopefully you'll take the time and it'll help you work out what i was on about.

i'm voting CEC. At least they're willing to mention the issues at hand. it was a shite picture wasn't it.

I call bullshit too .. sounds like young lib textual masturbation

"Liberals drink domestic beer, mostly Carlton or XXXX .."

No one would admit to drinking XXXX unless they were a cane toad licking queensland famer ... and we all know they vote for the national party or one nation.
